A hand-made, unisex ear cuff crafted from 925 sterling silver in collaboration with CRUSH JEWEL, a women-led jewelry brand based in Barcelona.
Each piece is formed using the traditional Japanese mitsuro technique, a slow and intuitive wax-carving process that creates organic, flowing forms. As someone with Japanese ancestry, Yumi Ito feels a deep connection to this method: its patience, its fluid rhythm, and the way it captures movement in stillness. Because of this process, every cuff is unique.
Named UMI, meaning sea in Japanese, the piece reflects the organic textures and emotional landscapes present in Yumi Ito’s music: currents, energy and transformation.
